Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, guitarist/composer/producer Andy Bianco graduated from the Berklee College of Music with a degree in Performance. He has studied privately and/or in group settings with Joe Lovano, Wayne Krantz, Hal Crook, Tiger Okoshi, Rick Peckham, Nathan Davis, Joe Negri, Jimmy Ponder, Dave Fiuczynski, Mick Goodrick and Bruce Bartlett. He has performed and/or recorded with Angie Stone, Deborah Cox, Onree Gill (Alicia Keys, Stevie Wonder), Ray Chew (American Idol, Dancing w/the Stars), Elle Varner, Kandace Springs, Bob Moses, Mauro Pagani, Adam Niewood, Roger Humphries, Dwayne Dolphin, David Tronzo, Tony Grey, George Burton, Freddie Hendrix, Carolyn Leonhart (Steely Dan), Gary Katz (Steely Dan), Maureen Budway,  Kenny Blake, Don DePaolis, Leo Genovese and many others.  He was a finalist in the 2012 and 2015 USA Songwriting Competitions  and has traveled to over 22 different countries as a professional guitarist, performing at such world renowned venues/festivals as The 2014 and 2015 New Orleans Essence Festival, The 2014 BET Awards/Experience, The 2013 Long Beach Jazz Festival, The 2017 Richmond Jazz Festival, Billboard Live Tokyo and Osaka (Japan), The Howard Theater, The Zinc Bar, The 55 Bar,  Cafe Wha, Smoke Jazz Club and The Blue Note NYC.  Andy has released 2 albums of his own music to domestic and international critical acclaim and is also the guitarist for the Grammy winning R & B artist Elle Varner, with whom he has completed a small tour of Japan.  In addition Andy has completed a 2 month residency of Japan and a 4 month tour of New Zealand with the critically acclaimed stage production by Spiegelworld entitled, “Empire”. Andy also teaches private and group lessons/clinics and has been a faculty member at the Berklee College of Music Summer Guitar Sessions.  He resides in Brooklyn, NY.
